The Details
As an ancient Egyptian art, sugaring provides many advantages over traditional forms of hair removal.
Our sugaring training courses in Boise, ID embrace the ancient Egyptian method of sugaring practiced for thousands of years. Using a paste consisting of sugar, water, and lemon juice, hair is more efficiently removed from all areas of the body. No sticks, no strips, and basically anywhere you can wax, you can sugar and, quite frankly, you should be!

I fell in love with sugaring as a client and knew I would never return to shaving, waxing, etc... First, because it’s a water-soluble paste, the extraction process is much more effective, leading to less breakage, thus reducing the chances for pesky ingrown hairs. Hair is also consistently removed directly from the follicle, so over time hair goes through a significant refinement process leading to a finer texture and a reduction in hair re-growth.

To become a sugaring professional, proper training is the key to a successful career. With years of sugaring experience and working with Tamara’s Sugar, Nola offers her expertise as a Sugaring Educator providing students with a thorough, patient and fun approach to sugaring.

Who / What / Where
If you are a licensed Esthetician, Cosmetologist or current student in these programs you are eligible to take this Sugar Certification Course.
​
101 Basic Sugaring Certification will cover theory as it relates to hair removal, and instruction on sugaring all major areas of the body, including legs, arms, bikini line, underarms, lip, chin, and eyebrow. Upon completion, you will receive a proficiency certificate stating you are certified in Body Sugaring by Tamara's Sugar and most importantly, lifelong support and mentorship from a fellow sugarista!
1 day training 9am-5 pm
(currently only hosting classes for 1-2 students, so these classes fill up quickly!)

All classes take place at Rooted Beauty in Garden City Idaho. Step into the vintage trailer that has been the sweetest getaway for clients looking for hair removal and holistic skin care.

How To Get Started
Step #1 Apply - Complete the application form HERE and once you complete and submit it, we will get back to you via email.
​
Step #2 Enroll - Once Nola has received your application, you will receive an email informing you of acceptance along with an invoice for $200 to hold your place in class. This deposit in non refundable and confirms your attendance and cannot be refunded (it can be applied to a different class date in the future).

Step #3 Register - You will need to register and create an account with Tamara’s Professional Body Sugaring, LLC. You will be asked what class you are taking and with what instructor. Choose my name, Nola Mandels and your selected date. This will ensure your application gets approved with Tamara's. Complete all the requested fields. Click HERE to register an account.

Step #4 Order The Kit - Once registered, students will receive an email from Tamara’s Professional Body Sugaring, LLC confirming the registration process. From here, students are able to order the class kit. Kits must be ordered at least 15 days prior to the start of a training class in order to guarantee delivery. Class kits are a requirement. No exceptions. All kits will be sent directly to Nola at Rooted Beauty and distributed at the end of class. Step #5 Complete Online Theory - Once you have registered an account with Tamara's, you will be sent an email within 1-3 days, with instructions to complete the online theory portion of this training. This online class must be finished before the start of your in person sugaring class with Nola.

Step #6 Pay remaining Tuition - Two weeks prior to your class, you will be sent an invoice for the remaining tuition. This must be paid in full before your sugaring course.
Step #7 Come Prepared and Attend Class - You will receive an email in the days prior to the training with the schedule, what to bring and what not to bring. No long nails, wear supportive shoes.
