Nola opened the doors to Rooted Beauty in the summer of 2021. She saw a need for a well curated, intentional space for clean skin care and sugar hair removal. What better place then a trailer in Garden City?!

What inspires you about the beauty industry? 

We are moving more and more towards clean, sustainable products and services, like sugaring! If I can have less impact on the earth, while helping people feel beautiful, that is such a big win!

How or why did you get into this industry? 

I had been teaching yoga for 10 years and have always had a fascination with the body! My love for the body, deep desire for connection and my love of hair removal brought me to beauty school and I haven't looked back since!

What is your zodiac sign? 

I am a gemini through and through!

What is your favorite food? 

I absolutely love meditteranian cuisine! Olives, hummus and pita are just the best!

What can you be found doing during your free time? 

When I am not seeing clients, you can find me on the trails with my pup Otis or doing some form of yoga / pilates. My husband and I love to explore Idaho while finding a new delicious place to grab dinner!

Ally has been with Rooted Beauty since 2023 and was an esthetician long before with a focus in hair removal. She has an eye for detail and loves to talk products with her clients. Ally has a grounded, fun disposition that helps her clients always feel at ease.

What inspires you about the beauty industry? 

I love making people happy through services. When they leave, feeling better then when they came in, thats has such a positive impact on me!

How or why did you get into this industry? 

I knew I wanted to get into this industry from a young age. I started really loving skincare when I was 13. I grew up watching my mom do hair and knew that I would be in the beauty industry.

What is your zodiac sign? 

I am on the Capricorn - Aquarius cusp. Make of it what you will!

What is your favorite food? 

I love burritos and sushi! 

​

What can you be found doing during your free time? 

Spending time outside is one of my favorite things! Baking can take up a lot of my time or going to the gym and being active. You will never see me do cardio, but I do weight lift!
